Developing software at TOPdesk

As a Junior Developer, you will undergo intensive training during your first months at TOPdesk. Your main focus will be mastering the Java Platform. Learning will always be a part of your job. You will work on various TOPdesk modules as part of a team. These teams are supervised by Senior Developers who will review your code to help you further improve your programming skills.

TOPdesk as an organization

TOPdesk is an international software and consultancy company specialized in Service Management processes. We develop a single standardized web application. Because our application is standardized, we focus on the quality of our source code. Code reviews are important, and we are not shy about refactoring larger systems when necessary.

TOPdesk Magyarország Kft. is located in a beautifully renovated building in the heart of Budapest, next to Deák tér. We are helpful and not afraid to ask questions. We also give you a lot of room for personal development. The team often goes for lunch together in one of the many restaurants near our office.

We work closely with our fellow developers in TOPdesk's Dutch and German branches. This includes daily meetings, but also frequent exchange programmes between the various offices. All TOPdesk developers travel to Antwerp for Devoxx, the famous European Java conference once a year. TOPdesk also organizes its own International Development Meetings so you can exchange ideas and get to know your international colleagues better.

Your profile

You have a passion for software development and are eager to learn. You have an urge to develop yourself, so you are open to constructive criticism. Because we work in an international team, you communicate with your colleagues in English.
