The requests turned out to be quite diverging, so we decided to extend the system with a flexible solution that supports all processes. Therefore, you can also dive deeper into the world of notifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create custom notifications and choose your own content, recipients and trigger. Pushing a message when a call is overdue or when an operations or change activity can be started? With custom notifications, you keep operators up to date for all processes.<\/li>\n<li>Set up notifications for triggers in third-party tools. For example, you might want monitoring apps to push a notification in case of hardware failure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"font-size: 16px\" src=\"https:\/\/blog2.topdesk.com\/hs-fs\/hubfs\/UG\/custom_notifications_templates.png?width=304&amp;name=custom_notifications_templates.png\" alt=\"custom_notifications_templates\" width=\"304\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2>How does it work?<\/h2>\n<p>As a TOPdesk application manager, you create custom notifications for your organization in an\u00a0<strong>Action Sequence<\/strong>. The notification is then triggered by a linked\u00a0<strong>Event<\/strong>, and card data is added via the new\u00a0<strong>task notifications API<\/strong>. As the setup requires some technical knowledge, TOPdesk prepared a couple of examples to help you get started.
