For this reason, we started building the new <strong>Reporting Hub<\/strong>: one go-to place for all your reports, including brand new dashboards based on best practices. This brings you to the overview of all reports and dashboards currently available via the hub. At the moment, you\u2019ll find the two duration reports, and the brand-new <strong>Incident dashboard<\/strong> and <strong>Knowledge Management dashboard<\/strong> in this overview. In the future, more reports will be added to the hub.<\/p>\n<h3>New best practice dashboards<\/h3>\n<p>Besides combining the existing reporting functionalities, the hub offers new dashboards with new out-of-the-box reports. We built these standardized reports based on best practices. Although they work right out of the box, you can further customize them to fit them to your needs. It currently consists of three tabs, all focusing on a specific topic:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Incident composition<\/strong>, showing you the number of incidents that have come in, in various groupings. With groupings such as \u2018per priority\u2019, \u2018per operator group\u2019, and \u2018per category\u2019, you have the perfect starting point for finding improvements.\n<ul>\n<li>On this tab, you can find more details by right-clicking on a group in the pie chart. Choose the <strong>Drill to detail by<\/strong> option to open an overview with all incidents within that group.<\/li>\n<li>Another option is to <strong>add a cross-filter<\/strong>. This feature will add an extra filter to the other charts, based on the group on which you clicked. The same happens when you simply click on a group in the pie chart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workload<\/strong> shows the number of open, registered, and resolved incidents in a bar\/line chart per month. Below that, you see the same data in a table view.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Compliance<\/strong> tab gives more insight into whether the resolved incidents had their target date achieved or breached (per month). This dashboard helps you to further strengthen your knowledge base, making it more valuable for both operators and end-users to use what\u2019s in there. It gives you insights into the quality of the knowledge, how well it is maintained, and how effective your knowledge base is in helping your end users.<\/p>\n<p>It currently features one <strong>Knowledge maintenance<\/strong> tab. In essence, the dashboard is a summary of your whole knowledge base: the number of active knowledge items, the total helpfulness score, how many items need to be improved based on their feedback, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Each tab also contains its own filters panel, so you can further customize your dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>More best practice dashboards are currently being developed.<\/p>\n<h3>The future of the Reporting Hub<\/h3>\n<p>The Reporting Hub is currently still a beta version. We\u2019ll gradually add more features, such as dashboards for other modules.<\/p>\n<p>Is there a specific report or feature you\u2019d like to see on the Reporting Hub? Let us know how we can further improve it via the <strong>Give feedback<\/strong> button on the start page of the hub or on the new dashboard.<\/p>\n<h2>Asset Management: improved asset overview accessibility<\/h2>\n<p>In the Asset overview, we moved the following buttons to directly above the table:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create<\/li>\n<li>Bulk edit<\/li>\n<li>Export<\/li>\n<li>Archive*<\/li>\n<li>Unarchive*<\/li>\n<li>Delete*<\/li>\n<li>Import*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>* has been added to the context menu<\/em><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-54277\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons.png\" alt=\"Asset Management buttons moved\" width=\"575\" height=\"417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons.png 575w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-300x218.png 300w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-69x50.png 69w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-290x210.png 290w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-165x120.png 165w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThese buttons are now more directly visible and in a more logical place. It improves the overall accessibility of the overview.<\/p>\n<p>This change leaves the <strong>Save<\/strong> (to save a custom overview), <strong>refresh<\/strong> and <strong>Template designer<\/strong> buttons on their old location.<\/p>\n<h3>Overviews embedded in other cards<\/h3>\n<p>For overviews that are part of other cards, such as the <strong>Assets<\/strong> tab on a Person card, the location of the following buttons changed in a similar way:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Link<\/li>\n<li>Unlink<\/li>\n<li>Export*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>* has been added to the context menu<\/em><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-embedded-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-54290\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-embedded-2.png\" alt=\"Asset Management buttons embedded overviews\" width=\"594\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-embedded-2.png 594w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-embedded-2-300x202.png 300w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-embedded-2-74x50.png 74w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-embedded-2-313x210.png 313w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/am-buttons-embedded-2-179x120.png 179w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 594px) 100vw, 594px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nYou now also have the option to bulk edit the assets that are in these overviews with the new <strong>Bulk edit<\/strong> button, found in the context menu. So, if one colleague&#8217;s assets need to be handed over to someone else, you can do so directly from that colleague\u2019s Person card.<\/p>\n<h2>Privacy: Share your privacy policy without login<\/h2>\n<p>In recent years, various extra privacy regulations have been put into effect. The privacy policy of your organization is an important way of communicating to users about how you comply with such regulations. To make sure your users can familiarize themselves with this policy before they start using TOPdesk, you can now add a link to your privacy policy on the login pages.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-54284\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2.png\" alt=\"Privacy policy on login page\" width=\"1698\" height=\"989\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2.png 1698w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2-300x175.png 300w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2-1024x596.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2-768x447.png 768w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2-1536x895.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2-86x50.png 86w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2-361x210.png 361w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/privacypolicy-2-206x120.png 206w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1698px) 100vw, 1698px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAdd your privacy policy via Functional settings &gt; Look &amp; Feel &gt; Login pages. In the <strong>Privacy policy<\/strong> block, simply enable the settings that you want to show the link on the login page and fill in the URL. The button will then appear in the bottom-right corner of all login pages.<\/p>\n<h2>New SSP: a unified request experience<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/ssp-change-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-54302\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/ssp-change-1.png\" alt=\"Changes in new SSP\" width=\"959\" height=\"994\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/ssp-change-1.png 959w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/ssp-change-1-289x300.png 289w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/ssp-change-1-768x796.png 768w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/ssp-change-1-48x50.png 48w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/ssp-change-1-203x210.png 203w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/ssp-change-1-116x120.png 116w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 959px) 100vw, 959px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nFor enabling your team to better support their end users, we\u2019re working on improving the user experience on the Self-Service Portal. This doesn\u2019t only include modernizing the look and feel, but also implementing conceptual changes to the portal.<\/p>\n<p>We identified that, despite these being two different concepts for operators, end users prefer the incident and change processes to be as similar as possible. To address this, <strong>we gradually introduce a unified request experience in the Self-Service Portal<\/strong>. As a result, the incident and change process will start sharing a similar user experience. This is achieved via four key updates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Consistent layout<\/strong>: the Change card on the Self-Service Portal will be aligned with the look and feel of the Incident card.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Simplified statuses<\/strong>: the Change card will only show the current status, instead of showing the previous statuses as well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Due dates<\/strong>: In every phase of the change, the planned end date of that phase is shown.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Approval actions for managers<\/strong>: the buttons for managers to approve or reject a step in a change will be moved to a notification banner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Updates to be released soon<\/h3>\n<p>Rollout of these changes will start at the beginning of March 2026. It contains more detailed information about all changes, plus a sneak peek of how it will look in TOPdesk.<\/p>\n<h2>Task Board: clean up your overview with the \u2018on hold\u2019 filter<\/h2>\n<p>In some situations, you can\u2019t work on an incident with input from the caller or supplier. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.topdesk.com\/en\/call-management-glossary.html#UUID-c333e6e1-8d1b-1293-ca63-5e94c73333c9\">The \u2018on hold\u2019 functionality in TOPdesk<\/a> allows you to pause the duration of these incidents. This is not only useful for avoiding any SLA breaches, but also for keeping a clear overview of all the tasks that currently need your attention.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-54294\" src=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold.png\" alt=\"On hold filter on Task Board\" width=\"2141\" height=\"1198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold.png 2141w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold-1024x573.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold-768x430.png 768w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold-1536x859.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold-2048x1146.png 2048w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold-89x50.png 89w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold-375x210.png 375w, https:\/\/www.topdesk.com\/en\/wp-content\/media\/sites\/30\/taskboard-onhold-214x120.png 214w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2141px) 100vw, 2141px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nYou can now filter your Task Board on these on-hold incidents, which helps you to get that clear overview of all tasks that actually need action.<\/p>\n<p>And along with that, we fixed a bug that caused operators without an operator group to not be visible in the overview nor the filter options.<\/p>\n<h2>Other updates<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>One TOPdesk User<\/strong>: Get a complete overview of how far your progress is with regards to linking operators to persons. Find the new <strong>Operators and persons link hub<\/strong> via the Supporting Files module page for a progress bar and links to pages with more information.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Supporting Files import<\/strong>: When you use a local Active Directory as your import source, you can now also import the <strong>PersonalTitle<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Automated actions<\/strong>: Use the <strong>variable type \u2018Attachments\u2019<\/strong> in <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.topdesk.com\/en\/create-and-adjust-variables-with-variable-assignment-steps.html\">variable assignment steps<\/a> to automatically generate attachments based on the value of the step. You can then use the attachments in an HTTP or email step.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Automated actions<\/strong>: In the new <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.topdesk.com\/en\/creating-email-designs.html\">Email designs<\/a> feature, we added the <strong>Insert value<\/strong> menu.
