TOPdesk drives more growth with customer-focused product innovation

TOPdesk Named in 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for IT Service Management Platforms

Years of sustained growth and recent industry recognition from Gartner® come as TOPdesk prepares to share its product direction at the upcoming Unlocked event.

London, UK August 2026 —TOPdesk, a global provider of IT service management solutions, is set to unveil its latest product news at Unlocked, its flagship event on September 16 in the Dutch city of Utrecht.

The new launches will build on the success of TOPdesk's latest AI-enabled features, reflecting the company's focus on real-world service management innovation that meets the evolving needs of service teams in IT, Facilities, and HR at mid-sized organizations.

The company has also been recognized in the *2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for IT Service Management Platforms.

"This is an important milestone and comes on the heels of 36 months of increased customer demand when we've been shipping at pace. But we're not pausing to celebrate — it just makes us want to keep building," said Wolter Smit, CEO and co-founder of TOPdesk.

"Our customers have been telling us they want a platform made for their team, not an overly complex enterprise suite or a basic tool that breaks the moment they outgrow it."

"We believe that focus is reflected in this Gartner recognition, and it is pushing us to move faster."

The new vision and product direction will be unveiled at Unlocked, where leaders in service management can explore practical implementation of AI and real-world strategies and hear customer success stories.

Smit said the company's latest AI-powered releases are shaped by what customers actually need, not by trends in the technology sector. They address the problems of ever-lengthening ticket queues and knowledge bases nobody has time to keep current.

These new features have resonated well in manufacturing, where IT teams in mid-sized businesses have to work across multiple sites. They have also been successful in the public sector, where small teams must manage the complexity of compliance and data residence requirements. That kind of traction across such different industries is what's driven years of consecutive growth for TOPdesk.

These AI capabilities are part of TOPdesk's continuing investment in continuous release that has helped to make its products such a major hit with IT, Facilities, and HR teams at mid-sized organizations.

Smit added: “Recognition from Gartner is a good signal but the real proof is what customers do with the product every day - and that's what the September event is about.”
