TOPdesk bolsters AI-driven innovation with the appointment of new CTO Yann Cluchey
Delft – Service management software provider TOPdesk has appointed Yann Cluchey (44) as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with effect from 1 May. In this role, Cluchey is responsible for the further development of TOPdesk’s technology strategy, with a strong focus on AI-driven innovation, modernising the technology platform and optimising product development.
From software engineer to technology leader
Cluchey began his career as a software engineer and that passion has stayed with him ever since. Building on that technical foundation, he progressed to various leadership roles within both fast-growing start-ups and large international organisations such as Cogenta and Corsearch. He now has nearly seventeen years’ experience as a CTO, having spent the last few years working on complex modernisation projects, cloud migrations and scaling up technology and innovation.
At TOPdesk, Cluchey’s focus will be on three key priorities, with AI serving as the common thread:
- Accelerate AI-driven innovation: for both product development and internal productivity, with a focus on predictive and proactive automated workflows.
- Modernising the technology platform: reducing complexity through a step-by-step approach and making room for AI functionalities.
- Supporting technology teams: simplifying processes and optimising workflows so that engineers can move from idea to product more quickly.
